DIVISION MVP AWARD

Prize: Adidas FIFA World Cup 2026 Trionda Pro, Official Match Ball provided by World of Soccer ($210 value)

1 PER DIVISION

Every game, referees will select one MVP from each team. These players are recognized for making a meaningful impact in the match through skill, consistency, leadership, and sportsmanship.

All MVP selections are recorded throughout the tournament.

At the end of the event, one player in each division will be named Division MVP.

This award celebrates consistent impact across the tournament—not just a single performance.

How the Division MVP is decided

The player with the most MVP selections across all games in their division will be named Division MVP.

If there is a tie

If multiple players finish with the same number of MVP selections, the following will be used in order:

  1. MVP selection in the final/championship match (if applicable)
  2. Most MVP selections earned in playoff matches
  3. Coin toss (or random draw)

TEAM FAIR PLAY AWARD

Prize: Gift Basket from Sweet Skin by Ivana

A Fair Play Award will be presented in each division based on team Fair Play scores recorded throughout the tournament. After each match, referees will assign a Fair Play score out of 10 based on team sportsmanship and match conduct, with additional administrative deductions applied for yellow and red cards.

Fair Play Award System

A: Referee Fair Play Score (10 points max)

  • Referees award points based ONLY on match behaviour, using four categories.
  • 10 points per match
  • Referees record this score on the game sheets based on observed behaviour.
  • Things to Consider:
  1. Respect Toward Officials
  2. Respect Toward Opponents
  3. Team & Bench Conduct
  4. Game Management & Sportsmanship

B: Discipline Adjustments (Red and Yellow Cards)

  • Applied AFTER referee submission:
    • -1 point per yellow card
    • -2 points per red card
  • These are applied at tournament HQ after the referee submits the game FP scores.

Fair Play Scoring System Final Calculation:

  • Each team’s result is calculated using:
    • Average referee Fair Play score per match (total referee Fair Play points ÷ matches played)
    • Minus average disciplinary deduction per match (total card deductions ÷ matches played)

Fair Play Winner:
The team with the highest final Fair Play score in each division wins the award.

Quick Guide:

10 = exemplary, clean match, respectful throughout

8-9 = good match, minor issues

6-7 = noticeable issues

4-5 = poor behaviour

0-3 = severe conduct problems

Fair Play Award - Tie-Breaking Procedure

If two or more teams are tied on total Fair Play points at the end of the tournament, the following tie-breakers will be applied in order:

  1. Fewest average disciplinary deductions per match
  2. Highest average referee Fair Play score
  3. Highest single-match Fair Play score
  4. Most 10-point Fair Play matches
  5. Fewest red cards
  6. Fewest yellow cards
  7. Coin toss (random draw)
