Teams and players from outside Alberta must have written permission (travel permit) from their respective Provincial, State or National Soccer Association to travel to Alberta and participate in the tournament.
All participating players and teams must be duly registered and in good standing with an Alberta Soccer regular member District or their respective Provincial, State or National Soccer Association.
Non-registered players who reside IN Alberta (previously "guest players') are asked to reach out to office@mycwsa.ca directly for details on how they can register to participate.
All players must be of the minimum age for their division within this calendar year and have picture ID upon request.
1. Players/Teams registered to an Alberta Soccer sanctioned district:
CWSA will contact your districts directly to verify that your players are registered within their home districts. (players will indicate their home district during their individual registration to your tournament team).
ASA sanctioned districts include: CWSA, CUSA, EDSA, RDCSA, Swan City, LSA, etc.). If you are not sure if your district is sanctioned, please contact OFFICE@MYCWSA.CA or view the ASA members listing here
2. Players/Teams registered outside of Alberta
Please contact your home district/provincial association and ask them to send a letter of permission for your team (include full roster - players and coaches) to office@mycwsa.ca by May 31, 2026.
3. Players not currently registered with any league
Thank you for your patience as these requirements have changed from year to year. Alberta Soccer has changed some of their policies, especially on guest players and we need to make sure we remain in compliance with them.
