Notable updates to the Discipline Code include:
The notice period for game defaults has changed from more/less than 3 days to more/less than 24 hours prior to the game.
The minimum fine for game defaults has increased to $150 (from $50), allowing the credit that we provide back to the affected team to also increase to $150.
The previous practice of removing one game from a suspension for not requesting a hearing has been eliminated.
Certain infractions have now been clearly designated as not eligible for a discipline hearing. Members can still provide proof that no infraction took place within 72 hours of receiving the notice of discipline.
Notable updates to the Rules and Regulations include:
Removal of the discipline section, with all discipline-related content now consolidated within the Discipline Code.
Updates to which divisions CMSA players are eligible to play up to.
General revisions for clarity and consistency, including updated terminology throughout.
To assist members in understanding what’s new, we have also provided Summary of Changes documents outlining the key updates.
We encourage all players and team officials to review the updated documents before the start of the season.
