Alberta Soccer Player Injury Insurance - https://albertasoccer.com/insurance/

Alberta Soccer covers its Members with Commercial General Liability, Sport Accident and Excess Travel Insurance protection.

The Alberta Soccer insurance policies apply specifically to registered players, coaches, referees, Alberta Soccer directors and staff, volunteers listed in member’s records, and parent volunteers while supervising registered players at sanctioned games, practices, or events. Both indoor and outdoor seasons are covered.

IMPORTANT: Insurance claims must be submitted within 30 days of an injury occurring. This should be done even if you are unsure if you will ultimately need to use the coverage.

If you're new to CWSA, here are some key items you may need help with:

Finding a Team
Individuals in our league are all signed to a team; we do not build "singles teams" or accept individual registrations.  However, we DO facilitate connecting new players to teams by posting courtesty notices on our Player Network page.  Please visit the Player Network page for examples, and email office@mycwsa.ca to submit your information for posting.

Joining a Team
Once you have been recruited to a team, a Team Official (Coach/Manager) will send you an invitation by email to register for the team. Accepting the invitation will allow you to fill out an online waiver and information profile, which will be shared to our administrative system. To be eligible to participate in games, you MUST be invited to the team, have accepted the waiver, and have acquired a Player ID card (see below).
